Opening Night "Under the Tent" Party tickets are now SOLD OUT
A World Premiere Collaboration with electronic artist Jim Campbell and guest artist mezzo-soprano Maya Lahyani
Be transported in an evening that redefines the relationship between visual art, technology and dance. The 30th Anniversary Fall Home Season explodes with a tour de force collaboration between Alonzo King, the LINES Ballet dancers, and acclaimed San Francisco-based visual artist Jim Campbell in a full evening of proscenium stage dancing.
Campbell, known for incorporating electronic memory, prerecorded images and live images into his art uses 1,000 LED spheres programmed in synchronized interplay with the dancers to produce a visionary evening of light and dance. And adding to the excitement, San Francisco Opera Adler Fellow and mezzo-soprano Maya Lahyani will perform live throughout the season.
This full evening work is emblematic of King’s three decades of remarkable collaborations with the world’s most celebrated composers, musicians, and contemporary artists.

A collaborative piece between Jim Campbell and the LINES Ballet dancers is currently on exhibit in the atrium at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. LINES encourages you to visit the installation to get the big picture!
